How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks
Hello everyone, welcome back to my beauty and personal care blog. I've been working out a lot more lately and I started to notice that my stretch marks are coming back. I lost a lot of weight a couple years ago and got some pretty big stretch marks on my shoulders, my thighs, and my arms. Working out and increasing my muscle mass again has started to make these stretch marks more prominent as the skin is having to stretch once more. I know there really isn't too much that can be done to prevent stretch marks other than making sure you're well hydrated and to keep your skin in a good healthy condition but there are things you can do to get rid of existing stretch marks and help stop stretch marks that use notice starting.
The first thing you can do to get rid of a stretch mark is to exfoliate the area and help remove any dead skin around the mark. You can try and do this manually especially with newer stretch marks however an exfoliation treatment using ingredients like baking soda oatmeal. Even something bought in-store can be an effective way to exfoliate your skin.
Another thing to do is have some creams and lotions that you can apply onto the affected areas. Personally I like to use coconut oil as it is very good to hydrate the skin and contains a high amount of vitamin e and vitamin C. If you want to go for something a little more extreme you can get a cream with glycolic acid which helps in the production of collagen which makes your skin more flexible.
If you have any problems stretch marks so you've been looking up and wanting to go away try these simple tips on them. I hope this post was useful to you and I will speak to you all again soon.
